How solid is your logistics knowledge?
Ten questions from practice – transport, warehousing, dispatch, controlling. Every round is put together afresh, and each answer comes with an explanation.
Where the questions come from
The questions come from the logistics glossary – over 160 terms with definition, practical example and KPI reference. They are not written by hand but composed afresh each time the page is opened. A fixed question catalogue is memorised on the second attempt and worthless after that.
There are two ways of asking: once for the meaning of a term, once the other way round – a case from practice, and you assign the matching term. The wrong answers deliberately come from the same category. Drawn at random from the whole glossary, the right one would usually be recognisable from the topic alone – and then a quiz tests attention instead of knowledge.
The focus is on logistics and processes: seven of the ten questions come from transport, warehousing, dispatch, planning and controlling, three from the remaining areas – breadth without diluting the focus.
A different round every time
The selection is drawn afresh at every start. Repeating is worth it.
Explanation instead of just right/wrong
After every answer the definition, a practical example and the KPI concerned appear.

From the term to the metric
Most logistics terms hang on a measurable quantity – empty running rate, contribution margin, on-time performance, utilisation. Anyone who has the terms down reads a report differently. The free calculators show how these quantities come about.
Empty-run rate calculator
Calculate the empty running rate and compare it with the industry value.
Loading meter calculator
Convert pallets into loading metres and check utilisation.

Terms everyone understands the same way
In logistics, dispatch, controlling, IT and management meet – each with its own vocabulary. In the Premium area the glossary is company-specific, with KPIs mapped to real data.
