A waiting charge compensates for the time in which the vehicle stands although it could be driving. Chargeable is only what goes beyond the agreed free time — and only up to the increment both sides have agreed on.
Units = rounded up( waiting time ÷ increment )
Waiting charge = units × increment ÷ 60 × hourly rate

Why the calculation is rarely the problem
Anyone can do the subtraction. What waiting charge claims fail on is the الإثبات: the arrival is not documented, the free time was never agreed in writing, nobody countersigned on site, and the notification only came with the invoice — three weeks later. Then it is one word against another, and the claim is cut or dropped entirely.
That is why this calculator does not only output the amount, but the finished record of evidence with everything an invoice needs — ready to copy into the invoice, the e-mail or the CMR note. The amount is the easy half; the other one is being able to prove it.
Report it while the vehicle is standing. A waiting time that only appears in the invoice looks constructed — the same waiting time, reported while it is running, is a fact nobody disputes.
